The Education Core of the Emory Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center is responsible for providing information and outreach opportunities that inform individuals about normal aging and Alzheimer’s. This team of experts collaborates with stakeholders from the public and private sector to increase awareness on the causes, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease. A strong emphasis is placed on conducting programs and services that facilitate research participation. These formal and informal networks facilitate the implementation of the Core’s outreach initiatives.
